About Lunar Rose Pottery

Inspired by all the gifts the universe has to offer, Becky Hope Rose makes Lunar Rose Pottery at her private studio in New Jersey. Weaving together natural alchemy with ethereal and feminine design, Lunar Rose Pottery is all about imparting beauty into your daily grind. Each handmade piece is completely unique and infused with a little bit of magic. Many are adorned with carefully selected crystals and 22k gold accents. Handmade functional pottery elevates the mundane, transforming personal rituals into divine acts of self care. Life is too short not to surround yourself with things that enchant you!

About the Maker

Becky Hope Rose is a studio potter and ceramics instructor.

Becky is an experienced educator with a Masters Degree in Education from Rutgers University. She first created pottery on a date night at Mud Clay Studio, and quickly became enchanted by the scent of damp clay, the hum of the wheel, and the elemental alchemy of the ceramic process.

In 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic turned all of our lives upside down, the universe also gifted Becky the opportunity to pursue her passion for clay full-time. In January 2022, she built her own private pottery studio, and since that time, she has successfully sold her work online, in local shops, and at community events. She also teaches both private pottery wheel lessons and adult group classes. Becky feels honored to help people build their creative skills and find joy in the act of making.

Becky has studied internationally and has attended workshops & artist residencies in Mexico, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Greece. She views clay as a common thread through spaces, cultures and times, and feels blessed to have formed meaningful friendships with potters around the world.

Lunar Rose Pottery is a direct reflection of Becky’s internal world. She considers the rituals of working with clay and making magical functional pottery to be part of her spiritual practice. Becky hopes for her work to embody the essence of the things she feels innately connected to — the sky, the earth, and all the sacred beauty in between.
